Metro Line 51 (Amstelveenlijn)
This line travels south, connecting Amsterdam Centraal to Amsterdam Zuid station, and continues on to the city of Amstelveen.
Metro Line 52 (Noord/Zuidlijn)
This line travels in a north-south direction. To the north, it connects to the borough of Amsterdam Noord. To the south, it travels through the city center, reaching the RAI convention center and Amsterdam Zuid station.
Metro Line 53 (Gaasperplaslijn)
This line travels east from Amsterdam Centraal, reaching suburban areas such as Diemen and Gaasperplas.
Metro Line 54 (Geinlijn)
This line also travels east from Amsterdam Centraal, reaching the Amsterdam Arena (home of Ajax Amsterdam football club and a large entertainment venue) and the residential area of Gein
You can use an OV-chipkaart to pay for metro journeys, which is a rechargeable card used across all public transportation in the Netherlands. Single-use tickets are also available.
